Casa Juan is a newly built and spacious, modern villa which is situated in the picturesque village of Guime. It is well positioned for Arecife airport - being just a 5 minute drive away (but NOT under the flight path!) and also from the main resort of Puerto del Carmen, which is just a 10 minute drive away. All of the islands attractions are easily accessible by car, making this an ideal base for your Lanzarote experience.
This beautiful private villa is comprised of 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have king-sized beds (one of these rooms has an en-suite shower room), and 2 twin bedded rooms.
The villa sleeps up to 8 adults comfortably, with the possibility of cots in 2 of the bedrooms.
There is also a family bathroom with over bath shower toilet and bidet plus another cloakroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped for parties of eight and there is a full oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
The spacious lounge and dining area has a modern cream leather l-shaped sofa and there is Satellite TV with basic channels, a video player and DVD/CD player. There is a small library of DVD's and videos for your use. The dining area has a dining table which will seat eight.
Outside of the villa is your very own, private swimming pool, which is also heated, and which affords a great deal of privacy for swimming and sunbathing. Around the pool there is a built in barbeque and patio furniture seating for eight, enabling you to experience the Spanish tradition of alfresco dining.
There are games to entertain the young at heart, inside and out! For energetic “outdoor” souls, we have swing ball and for the younger or more sedate members of the family, there is a PS2 and various board and card games. Please feel free to bring your own Playstation games, DVD’s and videos.
The island's largest hypermarket is a short drive away and an excellent modern shopping centre is located just beyond. Within Guime there are a couple of restaurants and a small local supermarket. The island's only golf course is a fifteen minute drive from the village the wine growing region and Timanfya national park are only a five minute drive away.
When you are ready to experience a little more action why not take a visit to the lively resort of Puerto Del Carmen.
Avenida de las Playas, the beach avenue, is the resort´s main road. Commercial premises, shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs line its entire length. There are over one hundred restaurants with food to suit every taste and every pocket from fast food to gourmet. Also a large variety of shops, boutiques and bazaars stocked with everything from duty free electronics to local arts and crafts and designer clothes, shoes or jewellery.
A walk along this beautifully landscaped promenade enjoying the sea breeze whilst admiring the scenery is an absolute must.
Puerto del Carmen by night. Puerto del Carmen offers a variety of night-time activities. Bars and clubs offer a wide selection of live and recorded music ranging from rock and roll and jazz and the rhythms of salsa an rumba to flamenco and Canarian folklore.
A more restful evening can be spent in one of the many restaurants or pleasant hotel lounges and cocktail bars. Alternatively you can enjoy the calm tranquility and safe serenity of the warm nights of Puerto del Carmen by talking a leisurely stroll along the beach promenade.
Carnival takes place at the end of February to the Beginning of March and attracts many visitors from all over Europe joining the local residents in their celebrations. The end of July signals the Fiesta de Carmen patron saint of Puerto del Carmen. Once again the population swell as folklore performances singing and dancing fill the night until the early hours of the morning.
Due to the location of the villa, a car is recommended for your stay.
